TECHNOLOGY Znews.com -- The Currie Phat-e is one of the most popular electric scooters, and has enough power to handle some hills, as well as heavier kids, and some adults.

The Phat-e is about 4 feet long and has quick-release, adjustable height handle bars. It can go about 5-8 miles on a full charge and can reach speeds of 15-18 mph. This model is also an adequate hill-climber, though a lot of hills will reduce the scooter's range.

The Phat-e also has an optional seat and basket to make it into a sit-down scooter.
